Job Description
Job Overview/Summary
- Preparation, analysis, and review or foreign and domestic entity level and consolidated tax provisions in conjunction with consolidation of quarterly financial statements
- Participate in the preparation of technical tax memoranda to support tax positions
- Participate in research and planning on various tax issues, including analysis of new tax laws and proposed legislation
- Participate in the preparation of consolidated and separate company federal, state and local corporate tax returns including quarterly estimated taxes; international tax schedules and forms (e.g., Forms 1118, Form 5471, E&P and tax pools); participate in Internal Revenue Service and various state tax examinations and correspondence
- Work on special projects as needed
Successful Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Master’s degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant required
- 2+ years of combined experience in tax with a public accounting firm or in a corporate tax department
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and PC skills
- Exposure to Onesource Income Tax and Onesource Tax Provision preferred
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately once per fiscal year
- Willing to work extended evening and weekend hours during quarter-end and year-end reporting cycles, as necessary
