Job Description

Job Overview/Summary

Responsible for all general ledger activity and reconciliations for assigned accounts
Advanced financial analysis and review of assigned financial statements for accuracy
Recommend efficiencies and areas to improve accounting processes as needed to Controller
Assist or lead teams in preparing for the annual external audit
Assist various teams with annual budgeting process
Preparation of month-end close documentation and training other accountants on this process
Assist in preparing any presentations for banking review, board meetings, etc.
Advanced reconciliation skills, for all account types (cash, liability, expense analysis, fixed assets, leases, revenue, debt, etc.)
Integrate transactions into ongoing accounting operations of the entities
Assist in recording purchase accounting for transactions
Special projects as assigned by the Controller
Assist in supervising staff accountants and assist with any questions they may have regarding transactional issues
