Job Description

Prepare workpapers and state income and franchise tax returns to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations
Calculate quarterly estimate and extension tax payments
Reconcile tax accounts
Assist with researching and documenting tax positions and planning matters
Compile data to support audit response and requests for information from taxing authorities
Assist with tax technology upgrades and implementation
Maintain the tax compliance calendar
Support the unclaimed property process
Assist with other projects as they arise

Successful Candidate Profile

2-4+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate tax or accounting at a firm, or company operating in a complex, corporate environment required
Experience with national public accounting firm is preferred
A proven track record with interpreting tax laws, technical documents and government regulations
Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Certified Public Accountant and/or Master’s in Accounting strongly preferred
