Senior Accountant (CPA)
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior accountant for one of our clients who is growing. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and integrations. The ideal candidate should be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with revenue recognition ( percentage of completion)
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Strong Excel including pivots and lookups to manipulate large amounts of data
