Job Overview/Summary
  • Drives revenue growth to plan for company in assigned customer base and geography consisting
    of International Accounts, for products produced in North America.
  • Develops and executes an industry specific sales strategy for multiple powder and specialty
    metals customer applications, including Aerospace, Medical, and Automotive.
  • Takes a lead role in identifying bid direction, strategy and preferred commercial actions.
  • Develops sound technical and commercial proposals by understanding the customer’s needs and
    requirements and positioning company’s solution appropriately, supported by operations and
    engineering.
  • Liaison between plant operations staff and customer to help resolve issues, find positive
    solutions, and provide on-going support.
  • Maintains regular contact with customer decision makers at all levels of the organization to
    ensure high levels of satisfaction with ongoing work and to keep current on any new business
    opportunities.
  • Owns and maintains customer profiles, identifying key decision makers in current and target
    customers, along with an execution plan to grow them.
  • Establishes relationships with key customer decision makers, communicates effectively with them
    in order to properly understand their needs and informs them of the various products company has
    to offer.
  • Analyze business risk and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure revenue growth.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, networking, and other official functions with the customer.
  • Participate in networking opportunities to promote company products.
  • Modify and deliver corporate sales presentations to customer decision makers.
  • Regularly uses CRM tools to drive business growth and align with the team on new business
    opportunities.



Successful Candidate Profile
  • University Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical sales role, selling to international customer base.
  • Understanding of manufacturing sales and Aerospace, Medical or Automotive supply chain.
  • Specialization in powdered metals market industry highly desired.
  • Must be able to travel internationally.
  • Up to 50% travel expected.
  • Positive, proactive and collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Creative problem solver, with an understanding of continuous improvement / lean initiatives.
  • Goal and objective oriented.
  • Hunter mentality, motivated by gaining new business.
